Ethan Molitch-Hou , MD

Dr. Molitch-Hou is an Assistant Professor in the Section of Hospital Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He earned BS, MD, and MPH degrees from Northwestern University and was honored with the Dr. Frederick Stenn Memorial Award for Humanism in Medicine by the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Chicago Medicine. He then served as an internist at the United States Naval Hospital Okinawa, Japan. Most recently, he was an assistant professor at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, where he was recognized with the Hidden Gems Award. His research has been published in the American Journal of Medical Quality. He returned to the University of Chicago in 2020, where he works as the lead hospitalist for COVID and is the co-director of the Hospital Medicine Sub-Internship Rotation for fourth-year medical students. Ethan helped reinstitute the Provident Foundation in 2014, recruiting members for the new board, and formally joined the board in 2020.
