July 25, 2024 Scholarship Reception for 2024 Provident Foundation Scholarship Recipients

Provident Foundation 2023 Scholarship Reception and Panel Discussion August 10, 2023

African Americans and Latinos remain underrepresented in the healthcare industry despite a growing need for healthcare professionals in a variety of professions. This lack of diversity in the healthcare workforce has been shown to negatively impact the health outcomes of minority communities. Provident Foundation seeks to support and encourage young persons of color who aspire to careers in the medical field by connecting them to mentorship and providing scholarships to support educational pursuits. Our annual Scholarship Reception celebrates this year’s awardees, brings attention to the disparities in healthcare access and outcomes that exist for communities of color, and to explore ways in which we can address these issues.

Join us as we explore the importance of this very timely issue and welcome our 2023 Provident Foundation Scholars.
